Our Trip to Santorini💙

Took a short bus ride to Kalmari to visit this beautiful black beach! 

We visited a volcano! The last eruption was in the early 1950s. The black rocks were so pretty!

Beach in Santorini 

Akrotiri⬇️ is a Minoan settlement which was destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1627 BC. The ash actually preserved the remaines of the frescos and many objects and artworks. This sight is said to be Platos inspiration for the story of Atlantis. It has been excavated since 1967.
