After arriving in Dubrovnik we took a bus to old town. From there we walked about a half mile with our bags, along the city wall, to get to our apartments!

If anyone has seen the TV show “Game of Thrones” then you probably know that it was filmed throughout the city of Dubrovnik!
Next to the entrance to the Franciscan monastery a gargoyle head sticks out of the wall, a legend has it that if you can balance on the head and take your shirt off while facing the wall then you will find your true love! Above the gargoyle head it is noticeably greasy from thousands of hands that have touched the wall!

Fun fact: we had to hike up 400 steps to get to our apartment! The view was definitely worth it!
On our way to Split, Croatia we traveled through the country of Bosnia! The 4 hour bus ride was so beautiful!! I just wished I could have stayed awake for all of it!!
